Per Sales Manager
Emails to clients and agents should be sent from the manager tied to the request, quotation, or shipment. The backend now supports selecting the sender profile by sales_manager_id.

Global SMTP / n8n Proxy
If a personal sender profile is not configured, the backend falls back to the shared SMTP values from environment variables. For Render Free UAT, managers can switch their own sender profile to n8n Proxy and route delivery through your existing automation stack.

To enable personal outbound sender profiles in Supabase, run backend/migrate_phase6_staff_settings.sql. The page still works for directory management even before that migration, but sender settings will stay unavailable.

Use placeholders like {{recipient_name}}, {{document_type}}, {{reference_number}}, {{shipment_label}}, {{shipment_route}}, {{next_action}}, {{preview_url}}, and {{company_name}}.
These values are now used by the document preview/generation layer for company branding and the next Contract / ACT / Invoice reference number.

Primary role is always included automatically. Use these toggles when one employee must work across Sales, Operations, and centralized CRM outreach.
Outbound Sender Profile
If disabled, this employee will use the shared fallback sender from environment configuration.
SMTP sends mail directly from the app server using the fields below.
This sender profile is used automatically for requests, quotations, and client or agent emails when the record belongs to this sales manager.
Use this to validate SMTP or n8n Proxy delivery before running full quotation or request tests.
